As employees return to the office, how do you ensure your workspaces help them feel connected with their remote counterparts while ensuring these remote employees enjoy an equitable communications experience? With Zoom Rooms!
Our latest updates to our Zoom Rooms solution will help simplify remote and hybrid collaboration, enable a touch-free conference room experience, and expand in-room capabilities. This update also includes the beta launch of our Smart Gallery feature, which enables an equitable meeting experience by sending multiple video streams from each Zoom Room to improve the display of in-room participants.
Here are some of our latest updates to Zoom Rooms:
We’re excited to launch the first version of our Smart Gallery feature, which leverages AI to take a single-camera view of multiple people in a Zoom Room, and send up to three unique video streams to better display the in-room participants to remote attendees. Smart Gallery public beta will be supported initially on Neat and Poly solutions available now, and Logitech and DTEN D7 solutions later this year. We plan to support additional platforms and video streams in later releases.
Now in public beta, Voice Commands for Zoom Rooms are supported on all Zoom Rooms platforms. With a locally processed expanded command set, Zoom Rooms participants can now use voice commands such as “start meeting,” “leave meeting,” “check in,” and more, further empowering organizations to provide a safe and effective hands-free meeting experience. Just say “Hello Zoom” to get started.
Meeting participants joining from Zoom Rooms or Zoom for Home devices can now respond to in-meeting chats using the room controller or touchscreen, giving users joining from a Zoom Room equal participation as those on desktop or mobile.
You now have even more control of webinars, attendees, and panelists from Zoom Rooms allowing you to do things like lock the webinar, mute panelists, allow attendees to raise hands, and more.
To simplify the overall user experience and management of Zoom devices, we are combining the management of Zoom Phone Appliances, Zoom Room devices, and Zoom Rooms Digital Signage into a new unified device management section. This makes it easy to view and manage all the devices and hardware in your deployment from a single place.
Conference room spaces with CRC deployed can now activate Zoom Phone to leverage our VoIP phone system within conference room spaces. This feature is available in select regions.
With NDI from NewTek, Inc., you can send Zoom audio and video streams from your Zoom Rooms to other NDI devices, allowing for more flexible integrations into studio, video production, and custom-designed environments.
