For the second consecutive year, Zoom Contact Center has been recognized in the Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS). We believe this recognition reflects our continued investment in customer experience, artificial intelligence, communications, and contact center capabilities.
See why Zoom Contact Center was recognized in the 2026 Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for CCaaS
Few enterprise software categories move as fast as contact center. When Zoom Contact Center launched in 2022, it entered a market dominated by established incumbents and high barriers to analyst recognition: providers with decades of market presence, deeply entrenched customer bases, and long-standing relationships with major analyst firms.
The Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for CCaaS evaluates providers on two dimensions: Ability to Execute and Completeness of Vision. We believe it is one of the most rigorous and closely watched evaluations in the category and one that reflects the full breadth of the CCaaS market, from legacy infrastructure players to newer entrants.
In 2025, just three years after launch, Zoom Contact Center was included in that evaluation for the first time. In 2026, we were recognized again, making this our second consecutive year in the Magic Quadrant. Zoom Contact Center is positioned in the Niche Player quadrant of the 2026 report, which we believe is a reflection of where we are in our growth trajectory: a platform that has moved fast, earned customer traction, and is still scaling into the full breadth of what the Gartner evaluation measures.
That growth has been driven by the contact center teams running live on Zoom Contact Center every day and the outcomes they're delivering for their own customers. In a category with entrenched providers and long-standing market definitions, we believe that a second consecutive year in the Magic Quadrant reflects the work required to build, mature, and expand a platform in a compressed period of time. We're proud of that progress, and we're just getting started.
We believe Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ has long been the definitive lens for evaluating CCaaS providers, and we feel it measures the market as it has traditionally been defined. As AI reshapes what a contact center platform needs to do, newer evaluations have emerged that are specifically designed to assess the agentic era of CX.
The IDC Marketscape for Agentic CCaaS, is one of them. Unlike traditional CCaaS evaluations, it focuses on platforms where intelligent capabilities: AI agents, automated workflows, and real-time decision-making are built throughout the unified CX stack, not added as a feature layer on top of an older architecture. In the 2026 IDC MarketScape for Agentic CCaaS, Zoom was named a Leader.
That recognition reflects how Zoom Contact Center was built from the start. It isn't a feature layer added to a legacy platform, AI is woven into the architecture itself, powering the full service workflow from the first customer interaction through live agent resolution and post-call quality review. That's what agentic CCaaS actually means in practice: AI that takes action across the customer journey, not just responds to individual queries.
Zoom's strategy is designed not only for the contact center market as it has traditionally been defined, but for the broader, more connected CX market taking shape now; one where the line between UCaaS and CCaaS is disappearing, and where AI isn't an add-on, it's the foundation.

See how CX teams are putting AI to work
We believe for CX weighing their options, the question is how to evaluate CCaaS platforms beyond the recognition itself. In 2025, Zoom became one of the vendors recognized in both the Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for UCaaS and the Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for CCaaS, which in our opinion reflects a platform strategy built around delivering communications and contact center capabilities together, rather than as separate deployments that require post-sale integration.
By working to unify these functions, Zoom helps organizations:
CX leaders evaluating contact center platforms in 2026 are asking questions that go well beyond product feature lists. The platform decision touches budget, IT architecture, agent experience, and long-term scalability. Key evaluation criteria typically include:
A key question to ask any CCaaS vendor:
"If we expand from contact center into broader communications capabilities, does your platform support that transition without a separate implementation or a second administration environment?"
The current CCaaS landscape brings to mind an earlier period when Avaya, Nortel, Aspect, and other legacy providers dominated the contact center market for more than a decade. When the market shifted to the cloud, the category was redefined around more robust requirements and a new generation of providers emerged to run it.
A similar shift is underway today, and this time it's being driven by AI. Zoom CX is built for it. We believe the Gartner 2026 recognition reflects Zoom Contact Center's progress within an established category and that the broader opportunity is to help define what the next category looks like: one built around unified communications, intelligent CX, and agentic customer service.
For our customers, that means two things: what Zoom Contact Center delivers today, and a clear commitment to what comes next.
We're continuing to invest in the capabilities that make contact centers smarter, simpler, and more connected:

Q1: Where is Zoom Contact Center positioned in the 2026 Gartner Magic Quadrant™ for CCaaS?
Zoom Contact Center is positioned in the Niche Player quadrant of the 2026 Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for Contact Center as a Service. This follows Zoom’s first CCaaS Magic Quadrant™ inclusion in 2025, which came just three years after Zoom Contact Center launched in 2022.
Q2: What do we believe analysts evaluate when assessing CCaaS platforms?
Key functional areas reviewed include omnichannel routing, self-service automation, AI-assisted agent tools, workforce management, quality management, and reporting and analytics. The evaluation also considers financial viability, customer base, and the vendor's track record of delivering on product roadmap commitments.
For buyers, the most relevant criteria often differ from what analysts weigh. Third-party research is best used as one input alongside direct product evaluation, customer references, and a requirements-based assessment against your specific environment and growth plans.
Q3: How does the Gartner Magic Quadrant™ differ from the Gartner Voice of the Customer?
The Gartner Magic Quadrant™ gives enterprise technology shoppers an unbiased assessment of how well competing providers are performing against Gartner market view and is supplemented by validated user reviews.
Q4: Why does unified communications and contact center integration matter for CX buyers?
Contact center teams often operate in isolation from the broader communications systems their organization depends on — different phone infrastructures, separate administration environments, and limited data sharing across digital and voice channels. This fragmentation adds operational complexity and can slow response times when customer issues require escalation or context needs to be transferred between agents and departments.
Zoom Contact Center is built on the same platform as Zoom Phone, Zoom Meetings, and Zoom Chat. This means organizations can connect contact center workflows with internal collaboration tools, maintain one administration environment, and apply AI across both customer-facing and employee-facing interactions. For CX leaders evaluating total cost of ownership and long-term platform fit, platform unification is a factor worth weighing carefully against point-solution alternatives.
