Zoom Rooms smart name tags for video and smart name tags for voice are features that use AI to add a name tag and highlight the speaker in a Zoom Room, respectively. When enabled, smart name tags for video and smart name tags for voice can operate in either manual or automatic modes. For automatic smart name tags, participants must consent and opt-in by uploading an image of themselves as a reference photo. For automatic smart name tags for voice, participants must consent and opt-in by uploading a voice sample of themselves as a reference audio recording. Manual smart name tags and smart name tags for voice do not utilize user-uploaded images or voice samples. Features like these help make meetings easier and more inclusive by allowing each Zoom Rooms participant to be better seen and identified.
