About The Asian American Foundation
The Asian American Foundation (TAAF) is a U.S.-based nonprofit dedicated to building a safer, more inclusive, and prosperous future for Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islanders (AANHPI).
TAAF was founded in 2021 in response to the rise in anti-Asian hate and to reverse the longstanding under-investment in the AANHPI community.
Our partnership and impact
Grant funding from Zoom supports TAAF’s Education Initiative, advocating for AANHPI history to be taught in K-12 and higher education to build belonging for every student in the country. With support from Zoom, TAAF launched its AAPI History Hub, an interactive platform for K-12 educators to access vetted lesson plans and learning materials on Asian American and Pacific Islander history.
With a Zoom product donation, the TAAF team works together in a hybrid setting to meet and collaborate with their network of community-based organizations to further achieve their mission.
