About this report

Enterprise AI assistants are quickly emerging as the new "front door" for how work gets done, as employees increasingly rely on agentic interfaces to research topics, analyze data, generate content, and hand off tasks and actions to AI. Gartner's Magic Quadrant for Enterprise AI Assistants is designed to help application leaders assess their vendor options against a defined set of evaluation criteria. Gartner plots vendors on a two-axis quadrant assessing Completeness of Vision and Ability to Execute, and classifies them as Leaders, Challengers, Visionaries, or Niche Players. This inaugural Magic Quadrant evaluated 10 global providers.

What this means for Zoom

We believe this recognition reflects the distinctive product vision behind ZoomMate, which is designed to go well beyond meeting summarization and conversational interfaces, drawing context from meetings, chat, phone calls, and connected enterprise applications, then acting on what it finds — a framework we call conversation to completion. Using agentic search, ZoomMate can plan, execute, and synthesize multi-step searches across connected enterprise systems, surfacing results for human review, and with agentic orchestration, it goes further still: creating deliverables, updating systems, executing workflows, and following through on the commitments made in conversations. A key part of what we believe sets ZoomMate apart is immediate value for existing Zoom customers — organizations already using Zoom can add ZoomMate and begin drawing on their existing meeting, chat, and call context as a foundation for AI-assisted work, alongside notes captured through My Notes and other connected data sources, building a strong foundation of enterprise work context from day one.
