The Foundation for Excellence (FFE) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing scholarships and educational opportunities to academically talented students who face financial constraints. By supporting higher education for deserving students, FFE helps foster individual economic mobility.
Through a product donation from Zoom, FFE has been able to scale its programs and extend its reach to more students across India. In 2024–2025, the organization engaged over 30,000 students and conducted its entire scholarship application process remotely, helping to promote accessibility for applicants from diverse regions nationwide.
Using Zoom’s interactive tools — such as polling, screen sharing, and breakout rooms — FFE delivered career-readiness training in disciplines including Engineering, Medicine, Law, and Pharmacy. The platform also enabled the facilitation of mentorship programs connecting over 2,500 mentees with more than 3,000 volunteer mentors, strengthening networks of guidance and support for students pursuing higher education.
