Choose your Zoom Certified hardware
in 6 steps

Follow our framework to help you choose the right equipment for your business needs.

Take stock of your workspace and the team members who will be using these devices. How many will need stationary setups? How many will need mobile ones?

Think about your team's workflows. What do they need out of their hardware? Consider capabilities like color touch displays, premium audio, or ruggedized casings for field use.

Third-party partner hardware is generally available at three cost tiers: Tier H (Executive), Tier M (Office/Assistant), or Tier L (Frontline/Common). Choose one that works best for your budget.

What size and shape device(s) will you need? Desk phone appliance? Mobile/DECT handset? A paging/intercom system? Some combination of the three?

How much flexibility will your teams need with this system? Consider adding expansion modules (sidecars), DECT repeaters, or Bluetooth headsets.

Check twice, buy once. Cross-reference your choices against the official Zoom Phone Certified list, and check that each device supports TLSv1.2 and Zero Touch Provisioning.

When the whole team is in the room, your hardware needs to keep up. Choose a phone that can rise to the occasion, with wide-area pickup, HD audio, and the kind of clarity that keeps multi-party calls productive from the first word to the last.

Hot desks

When the workforce is fluid, the phones need to be, too. For hot desks, choose hardware that lets any employee sign in and get their own experience — personal extensions, voicemail, and preferences — on whatever desk they happen to be at.
