eeCheck is a leading employment background screening organisation in Asia with a mission to achieve the highest standards for Human Resources (HR) focused background check solutions. With employees and operations that span globally, eeCheck helps organisations in highly regulated industries such as banking, finance, and government manage hiring risk and compliance. eeCheck conducts reference checks, employment verifications, and background screenings for some of the world’s largest banks and government agencies, making speed, accuracy, and compliance necessary in every client interaction.
A fragmented system that could not keep up
Speed and agility towards serving their clients are central to eeCheck’s value proposition, yet its previous communications setup was fragmented, slow, and difficult to scale. Teams at eeCheck relied on local phone carriers and disparate digital tools with no consistent way of working across countries.
Consequently, this led team members to have multiple phone numbers (for instance, separate Hong Kong, Singapore, and China mobile numbers), making it difficult to know which number to call at any given time. Call forwarding during public holidays, which is a frequent occurrence across a global organisation like eeCheck, required manual configuration, and knowledge of the manual set-up process was not well-documented. Different teams used different tools for internal communication and client meetings, creating information silos and slowing down response times.
