Zoom SMS Terms

The Zoom SMS program (the “SMS Program”) allows eligible users to receive SMS/MMS mobile messages by affirmatively opting-in, such as by providing their mobile phone number through online or application-based enrollment forms or texting a keyword. By opting-in to or using the SMS Program, you accept these SMS Terms (“SMS Terms”), consent to the Zoom Privacy Statement, and agree to our Terms of Service. In the event of any conflict between these SMS Terms and our Terms of Service, these SMS Terms will prevail only to the extent necessary to resolve the conflict. We may modify or cancel the SMS Program or any of its features at any time without any additional notice to you.

Eligibility and Change in Phone Number

You must have a Basic account with Zoom at the time of signup to participate in the SMS Program. You warrant that you are the current subscriber or authorized user of the phone number you have provided. You agree that you will not initiate messages to the mobile phone of any other person or entity without authorization. If you change, forfeit, or deactivate the phone number you have provided to Zoom, you agree to notify Zoom immediately. If you fail to notify Zoom as required in the preceding sentence, then you agree that your failure to do so constitutes a material breach of these SMS Terms.

Costs

We do not charge for the SMS Program, but you are responsible for all charges and fees associated with text messaging imposed by your wireless provider. Message and data rates may apply. Please contact your wireless carrier to determine your text message and data plan rates.

Opting into Text Messages

By enrolling in the SMS Program, you agree to receive SMS and MMS mobile messages sent by us or on our behalf to the telephone number you opted-in with when you enrolled in the SMS Program. You further agree that these messages may be sent using an automatic telephone dialing system (“ATDS”), other automated systems for the selection or dialing of telephone numbers, or other messaging technology. Your consent to receive mobile messages via an ATDS or other automated system for the selection or dialing of telephone numbers is not required (directly or indirectly) as a condition of purchasing any property, goods, or services. If you have opted-in, the SMS Program provides recurring updates, alerts, information, promotions, specials, product news, and other marketing offers and communications from Zoom via mobile messages through your wireless provider to the mobile number you provided. Message frequency varies and we may change the frequency of the messages you receive at any time, including in response to your interactions with us.

Opting out and Getting Help

Text the keyword STOP to unsubscribe at any time. When you opt-out, you agree we may send you an opt-out confirmation text message. If you have subscribed to other Zoom mobile message programs and wish to unsubscribe, you will need to opt-out separately from those programs by following the instructions provided in their respective mobile terms. For Service support or assistance, text HELP for help or email support@zoom.us

We may change any short code or telephone number we use to operate the SMS Program at any time with notice to you. You acknowledge that any messages, including any STOP or HELP requests, you send to a short code or telephone number we have changed may not be received and we will not be responsible for honoring requests made in such messages.
