Our response and impact
In early August 2023, wildfires broke out across the island of Maui, causing destruction to several neighborhoods and communities, tragic loss of life and estimated damages totaling to $5.5 billion.
Zoomies rallied together to raise funds for the relief effort and Zoom Cares made an emergency response grant to the Hawai'i Community Foundation's Maui Strong Fund to support economic resilience programs, health and social service systems, housing needs, and protecting natural, cultural, and historical resources.
Our partner
The Hawai'i Community Foundation is committed to ensuring all Hawai'ian island communities thrive. They accomplish this through a range of philanthropy programs and by convening community members together to deliver broad impact initiatives.
