Happy Thanksgiving

The world has been through a lot this year, and all of us at Zoom are more grateful than ever for the opportunity to help people connect with each other during these difficult times. We’re also thankful for the continued trust of our community, customers, partners, and employees; your unwavering support empowers us to continue building the products and experiences that bring people around the world together.

This year, we asked our very own Zoom employees what they are most grateful for this year. Here are some of the things our Zoomies are thankful for:

“I'm thankful for so much this year. First and foremost, for my friends and family (always) and all of us being healthy and safe this holiday season. This December, I'll be celebrating being 4 years cancer-free and it means even more as we all work through this pandemic. I'm also so thankful to have landed here at Zoom earlier this year. While working completely remote from the onset, I was welcomed with open arms into the Zoom family and feel so blessed to work with such an amazing group of people!”

Lindsay Hedtke, Marketing

“Wow! I am so grateful to have experienced first hand the difference Zoom has made across the planet! To see, hear, feel, and be a part of such an incredible wave of connectivity among humans humbles me. I am thankful for this opportunity to unite the world!”

Kathy Wallace, Customer Success

“I'm thankful for so many things. First and foremost, I'm thankful that my team is so close and strong. We truly care about each other, and as such, pitch in whenever one of us needs a helping hand. I'm also thankful for our team's manager, Mac Candelaria. He's a wonderful manager and sets the tone for how we work together. He cultivates caring, empathy, and teamwork, as well as a focus on perfection and excellence. On a personal note, I'm thankful for the love of my life and that we are happy and safe during this global pandemic.”

Christine Graham, Professional Services

“I am SO thankful for the opportunity to work at Zoom and the opportunity to learn from the bright minds here. It was my dream to move to the west coast after I graduated, but I found my wife first so we stayed by my family in North Carolina. Now I can fulfill both dreams and I look forward to the relationships my family will form at Zoom!”

Corey Mead, Engineering

“I am thankful that all of my family members are healthy, even during the pandemic. Though things get tough this year because some of them got a skeletal work schedule, we are still thankful that none of us got sick.”

Lea Estiller, Customer Success

“I'm thankful for all of my blessings.”

George Mourgos, Professional Services

“I'm grateful that we are able to keep the world connected without losing our customer-first approach to service and innovation. Connection is more important than ever, and I'm very proud to be a part of solving that problem globally.”

Shane Springer, Solutions Engineering

“Isn't it true that ‘nobody’ gets everything in life? So, for whatever I have got, I feel thankful with every breath. A grateful heart is the richest!"

Aditya Telidevara, Customer Success

"I'm thankful for the air in my lungs, a roof over my head, and the knowledge that my family is safe and taken care of."

Kelly Magaoay, Solutions Engineering

"I am very grateful for the health of my family and their support as I changed jobs during this pandemic. My new team here at Zoom and the excitement I have waking up every day and getting to work with great teammates is an amazing change. I look forward to jumping on Zoom calls to check in on the team and figure out how we are going to work together to solve challenges. Go team!"

Katelyn Falk, Security Management

“I'm so thankful for the amazing team that I work with every day and their dedication to customer success, supporting each other through 2020's challenges both at work and in our personal lives. We've become one big Zoom family.”

Andrew Schlocker, Professional Services

"I'm thankful to be part of an organization that brings people together. Personally, I've needed this like never before. I have lost three family members to COVID and not being able to travel home and attend funerals has been very difficult. But to connect with my family from all over has been a saving grace. I’m also very thankful for "my tribe", those folks within Zoom that I can go to and have heartfelt conversations with. This group of folks have become family - we lean on each other, and they are my safe space. They are truly a blessing to me!"

Nicole Gray, Customer Success

"Roses are red, Zoom’s logo is blue

In the midst of this pandemic, we are the glue

We come to work with a sense of pride

Knowing our values of care are applied

We are grateful each day for the company we keep

Although the world’s opening seems slow and steep

I could not think of a better place to be

Then with my fellow Zoomies by video I see

I wish for you all a Thanksgiving of rest

Even during this time, I feel very blessed

Thank you, Zoom!"

Jodi Rabinowitz, People Experience
