Recording & Recap: Zoom's Dashboard & Reporting

Reporting. Maybe not the most exciting part of Zoom's solution, but nevertheless important. If you want to know who is in your company's meetings and webinars, what devices they're using, and where they're coming from, you can use reporting and dashboards to figure this all out. Otherwise you're flying blind! So, to make sure you have insights into your Zoom meetings, our senior sales account managers Ben Grande and David Gonzalez hosted a webinar on Zoom’s reporting and dashboard. This is one of regular series of demos and webinars that focus on different Zoom features and products. You can view the Reporting and Dashboard webinar on YouTube: https://youtu.be/bGGms1ksUhQ

1. Zoom Dashboard

The dashboard shows you a real-time look at your Zoom meetings. You can find the dashboard by logging into your account, clicking Account Management, and then clicking Dashboard on the right side of the window. The dashboard gives administrators a look at everything in real-time, starting with to top users by meeting minutes, top geographic locations by users, top devices by users, and usage by meeting for the last seven days. The administrator can then do deep dives on a variety of analytics. They can see who is hosting meetings right now and what features are being used (video, audio, screen sharing). They can see meetings by department and by Zoom product (Zoom Rooms, Cloud Room Connector, and Zoom Webinars). They can even jump into any live meeting if they are needed to troubleshoot. Currently this is only available in live view, although we are working on the ability to export past and current data.

2. Meeting Reporting

Reporting lets you view historic data on your Zoom users and meetings in customized time frames. You can get the Daily Report of new users, meetings, participants, and meeting minutes. The Usage Report looks at the meetings, participants, and meeting minutes by users. The report on Inactive Users tells you who isn't using Zoom - so you can yell at them that they should be Zooming! And last but not least, the Telephony Usage report tells you who is using Zoom audio conferencing. All of these reports can be exported as .csv files.

3. Webinar Reporting

A subset of reporting is Webinar Reports. Webinar reports are crucial to any webinar as they let you know who registered, who attended, and for how long. You can run registrant reports before the webinar to make sure you're on target for attendee count, and you can run attendee reports after the fact so that you can follow up with attendees and registered non-attendees effectively. The webinar reports also include Q/A and Polling so you can see every question and poll that was asked during the webinar and include any relevant information in your follow up.

4. Who Can See Dashboard and Reports

The Zoom dashboard is available to Business and Education customers. Reporting, on the other hand, is available to all paid accounts, including Pro accounts. Note that only administrators and owners have access to reporting and dashboards. The users under these accounts do not have access.

5. Live In-Meeting Monitoring

To make sure you're getting the highest quality meetings Zoom delivers, we also provide real-time in-meeting monitoring of your CPU usage, memory, audio (frequency, latency, jitter, and packet loss), and video and screen sharing (latency, jitter, packet loss, resolution, and frame per second). All this information can be found during your meeting by clicking on Settings and then Statistics.
