Zoom Gallery Community Terms & Guidelines
Welcome to Zoom Gallery! You're joining a professional community focused on innovation and design, where members share gallery templates and contributions. Let's keep it respectful, supportive, and collaborative.
What is Zoom Gallery?
Zoom Gallery is a curated platform where you can create, share, and discover content and custom templates — like meeting frames, backgrounds, and visual overlays — that enhance the Zoom experience. All content should be directly related to enhancing how people use Zoom. We're here to foster creativity and collaboration while maintaining trust, safety, and respect.
1.Be Respectful and Professional
Treat everyone with kindness and courtesy. We're all here to learn, create, and help each other succeed. Avoid name-calling, insults, hate speech, or any language that makes others feel unwelcome. Zoom Gallery thrives when everyone feels safe and respected.
2.Protect Privacy
Don't share personal or private information — yours or anyone else's. This includes email addresses, meeting IDs, phone numbers, or any sensitive data. Privacy matters, and we're counting on you to help protect it.
3.Submit with Rights and Integrity
Only upload templates you created yourself or have explicit permission to share. Don't infringe on copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights. You retain ownership of your content, but by submitting, you grant Zoom a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, display, modify, and distribute your template in connection with Zoom Gallery and Zoom's business.
Nothing about your submission or posting on Zoom Gallery will create any agency, joint venture, sponsorship, endorsement, employment, or other relationship between you and Zoom, your employer and Zoom, or any other affiliation with Zoom. You are not entitled to, and Zoom is not obligated to pay you (or your employer), compensation of any kind for your voluntary participation or submissions in the Zoom Gallery.
Provide accurate descriptions and clear attribution for any third-party resources you've incorporated. Be honest about what your template does and who it's for.
4.Keep It Helpful and On Topic
Share templates and content that are practical, reusable, and relevant to Zoom users. Avoid spam, duplicates, promotional content, or anything misleading. Your contributions should add value to the community.
5.Report Inappropriate or Abusive Content
See something that may be in violation of our Acceptable Use Guidelines? Use the "Report" feature to let our Trust and Safety team know. Your reports help keep Zoom Gallery safe and trustworthy for everyone.
6.Moderation and Enforcement
All submissions are reviewed for compliance with these guidelines, Zoom's Terms of Service (or Master Subscription Agreement ("MSA"), if applicable) and Acceptable Use Guidelines. We use a combination of automated tools and human review to check for inappropriate content, intellectual property violations, and policy compliance.
If a template or Gallery content violates these guidelines, Zoom's Terms of Service (and MSA, where applicable) or Acceptable Use Guidelines, we may remove it, issue a warning, or suspend your account. Repeat violations may result in permanent removal from Zoom Gallery and/or Zoom.
Important: Zoom reserves the sole and absolute discretion to remove any content, template, or user from Zoom Gallery at any time, for any reason, with or without notice. This applies even if content does not clearly violate the stated guidelines. We maintain this flexibility to protect our community, uphold our brand standards, and respond to emerging concerns.
You may appeal enforcement decisions through our appeals process (https://www.zoom.us/appeals), though certain violations (such as clear intellectual property infringement or illegal content) may not be appealable.
7.Privacy and Data Handling
Your contributor profile information (display name, avatar, background image, self-introduction) is publicly visible and managed by you. Templates you publish are also publicly accessible. All data is handled in accordance with Zoom's Privacy Statement.
Uploaded templates are subject to content scanning to ensure compliance with Zoom policies and legal requirements. By submitting content, you agree to these terms.
8.Agreement to Terms
By contributing to Zoom Gallery, you acknowledge that you've read, understood, and agree to these guidelines, as well as Zoom's Terms of Service (and MSA, where relevant) and Acceptable Use Guidelines.
Together, let's build a vibrant, creative community that enhances the Zoom experience for users worldwide. Thank you for being part of Zoom Gallery! 🎨
