Program Files

INF files (.exe file) INF files for our Rockwell chipset 33.6 voice and non-voice faxmodems for use with Windows 95/98/Me/NT. This is a self-extracting file. Please note that voice modems (models 610, 620, 2800, 2802, 2835) also require unimodv.exe

Windows 95A/95B users need to download and install unimodv.exe located elsewhere on this page. Unimodv.exe is included in Windows 95C/98/98SE. If you are using these versions of Windows 9x, you do not need unimodv.exe. Models 2800 & 2802 used in Windows 3.x (Windows 3.1 or 3.11) require portwiz1.exe located elsewhere on this page. Serial numbers of Faxmodems that utilize this file are sometimes in the format of the following:

Disk includes INF files for use with Windows 95/98/ME/NT. This is a self-extracting file. Serial numbers of Faxmodems that utilize this file are sometimes in the format of the following:

Modem Utilities Disk (.exe file) Endusers who have upgraded model 2805C or IUPG to 56K should use this file.

Modem Utilities Disk (.exe file) Endusers who have upgraded models 2836A, 2838A, 2837A, 4MX4xxxx or 4MX3xxxx to 56K should use this file.

Unimodem (.exe file) For use with Windows 95A/95B in addition to INF files listed elsewhere on this page. Unimodv.exe is included in Windows 95C/98/98SE. If you are using these versions of Windows 9x, you do not need this file. Unimodem V is the newest release of Unimodem, the Windows universal modem driver/telephony service provider for data/fax modems. Unimodem V adds the most commonly requested features to support data/fax/voice. This is a self-extracting file.

Portwiz (.exe file) Program for use with DOS and Windows 3.1/3.11 and our Rockwell chipset, K56flex, Internal, ISA faxmodems that are PnP (Plug and Play) only with no manual jumpers (models 2800 & 2802). Windows 3.x is not Plug and Play compliant. This is a self-extracting file. Extract the 2 compressed files and place them in your "C:\" or root directory. These files will run each time you boot-up to designate which com port your PnP-only modem will use.

Internal Modem Utilities Disk (.exe file) for our Rockwell chipset, K56flex and V.90, Dualmode internal faxmodems. Disk includes INF files for use with Windows 95/98/Me/NT. This is the file to be used when you have the internal flash upgradeable 33.6 modems.

External Modem Utilities Disk (.exe file) for our Rockwell chipset, K56flex and V.90, Dualmode external faxmodems. Disk includes INF files for use with Windows 95/98/Me/NT. This is the file to be used when you have the external flash upgradeable 33.6 modems.

INF files (.exe file) W2000 INF files for ZOOM/Rockwell K56Flex/V.90, V.34 ISA, External and PCMCIA (PC Card) modem models. This INF file is not for use with Lucent 2919L, 2949L or 2975L modems! This is a self-extracting file.
