XT SVD is a complete communications center for IBM® PC-compatible
and Macintosh® computers. The ComStar XT SVD
external Speakerphone/FaxModem combines a full-featured 33,600
bps V.34 faxmodem with 14,400 bps fax, full-duplex speakerphone,
digital answering machine, voice mail system, and convenient
speed dialer.
The ComStar XT SVD features extended status reporting with
14 LEDs. It is serial "Plug and Play" compatible
with Windows® 95 and the new generation of
Plug and Play computers, and also connects to a Macintosh
serial port. ComStar is also available as an easy-to-install
single-slot card that is software configurable and Plug and
Play compatible with Windows 95. All ComStar models come
complete with a high-quality microphone and speaker, and
all necessary software.
