Zoom's PC-Card Top-Rated by Italy's PC Professionale Magazine
PC Card Growth in European
Market was 66% in 1996 Boston,

recently received a top-ranking from Italy's PC Professionale
magazine, out-performing 14 competing modems in its review
of PCMCIA cards. The review said that the performance of the
Zoom V.34C "is good regardless of the disturbances on
the telephone connection." According to the article,
the Zoom V.34C offers "a complete package: all at one
of the most competitive prices." In addition, PC Professionale
noted that the documentation for Zoom's product included "very
well designed manuals in English." The article
stated that purchases of PC-Cards in Europe are expected to
increase 35% this year. Last year's growth rate was 66% as
PC cards first became widely available. The percentage of
users in Europe accessing the Internet is expected to reach
51% in 1997, up from 44 percent last year, according to PC
Professionale. The Zoom V.34C has also received high
ratings by the North American trade press, winning "Best
Buy"status from PC World Magazine for eight straight
